If you are at the Intermediate Level or higher in your skating and meet the academic requirements, please submit the application by the deadline date of January 15, 2008. -Sign-In Book will be on the table during Club Ice. Before you go on the ice, please remember to sign in (indicate # of sessions skating) and leave your ice card to be checked.
ACFSC RULES ON ICE
-All skaters must adhere to the ice rules for the safety of all skaters at all times! With many skaters preparing for tests in MIF, Dance and FS, as well as preparing for competitions, it is imperative that all skaters adhere to the ice rules for the safety and consideration of others at all times.
-Every skater must be aware of other skaters at all times!
-Skaters whose program music is being played, have the right of way.
-All skaters must keep moving at all times.
-No standing in the middle of the ice or at the boards.
-No tag, socializing or gathering on the ice.
-If a skater demonstrates inappropriate behavior, as stated above, the coach/ice monitor/director has the right to ask the skater to vacate the ice and sit out for the rest of the session with NO reimbursement of ice time.
-Let's have a safe and successful season of skating!!
-Ice Music Etiquette: Please place music in line to be played in order of line up. Music for program practice may be played one time, then moved to the end of the line. Skaters in a lesson have the right to have their music played with requested by a coach. Parent volunteers will be assisting in playing of music during club ice.

On the Adult Nationals Scene in Lake Placid:
1. CONGRATULATIONS TO MARUEEN CARRIGAN FOR WINNING 4th place pewter medal in the Silver Ladies III, Final Round and 2nd place silver medal in Ladies Light Entertainment/Comedy Interpretive III, Group B at Adult Nationals in Lake Placid!!.
2. CONGRATULATIONS TO JOANNE PUKOWSKI for competing at Adult Nationals in Lake Placid. Joanne took two 4th places and an 8th place in the Bronze Ladies III group.

ON THE COLLEGE SCENE, March, 2008:
Stephanie Gerber and her Boston University Freestyle Team AND Jenna Beatty with her University of Delaware Team attended the 2008 Intercollegiate Nationals Competition at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on April 5th & 6th. Steph came in 4th in her dance event.

team visited Jenna Beatty's University of Delaware team in Delaware this weekend! Both girls competed in the dance events.
CONGRATULATIONS LIZA BRANELLA & BENJAMIN NYKIEL!! They have been given an international assignment by U.S. Figure Skating and will be competing in Vancouver, British Colombia this August.
CONGRATULATIONS TO KRISTEN BEATTY
FOR PASSING HER SENIOR FREESTYLE FIGURE SKATING TEST IN LAKE PLACID, NY.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BROOKE IMBER, second in line for the Kern Trophy for 2006-2007. Brooke scored a commendable point total of 79 points. The Dr. E. Clarence Kern Memorial Trophy is awarded to to New Jersey skater who has accumulated the most points through U.S. Figure Skating tests and competitive achievement.
